of the wide range of projects that PMI has and is involved
with are as follows:
Offshore Tower
Location Survey, North Carolina
Precision
Measurements, Inc. was the surveying consultant for the offshore
tower location surveys performed in the Atlantic Ocean for
the U.S. Navy. Project services included:
-Reconnaissance of suitable shore control
-Verification of existing control values
-Global Positioning System Surveys to produce centimeter accuracy
locations of tower apparatus
-Provide complete survey report.
Route 33 (VDOT), West Point,
Virginia
Precision Measurements, Inc. is currently performing the
surveying and mapping services for the multiple bridge replacement
project at the town of West Point, Virginia. Project services
include the following:
-Property owner, property line and right-of-way research
-Full topographic mapping
-Hydrographic surveys
-Bridge situation surveys.
Richmond International
Airport, Richmond, Virginia
Precision
Measurements, Inc. was the surveying consultant for various
airport projects. Various of these projects where inside the
Aircraft-Operations-Area. Project services included:
-Providing full topographic surveys
-Providing Horizontal and Vertical control
-Providing DTM's
-Locating all utilities
-Providing Stake-out services.
Fort Eustis
Rehabilitation Project, Fort Eustis, Virginia
Precision Measurements, Inc. was the surveying and mapping consultant
for the rehabilitation of the sewer system at Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Project services included the following: 
-Utility research and field locations
-Horizontal and vertical ground control
-All Global Positioning System surveying services
-Topographic survey
City of Virginia
Beach BMP Pond Survey, Virginia Beach, Virginia
Precision
Measurements, Inc. was the surveying and mapping subconsultant
for providing horizontal and vertical locations and hydrographic
surveys of BMP ponds throughout the City of Virginia Beach.
Project services included the following:
-Reconnaissance of horizontal and vertical control
-Utilization of GPS (static and real time) for control establishment
and specified locations
-Hydrographic surveys to determine bottom profile and siltation
surveys
-Conversion and delivery of all data in format compatible
with Hansen software
New York Department Of Transportation,
New York State Wide

Precision Measurements Inc.'s personnel were responsible
for providing geodetic control to the State of New York, Department
of Transportation for use on their road projects over an eighteen-month
period. During the performance of this project, PMI personnel
established over five thousand survey control points, ranging
from NGS 3-D type monuments (rods driven to refusal) to brass
disks set in concrete monuments, to feno type monuments, to
aerial photo control. Project services included the following:
-Reconnaissance of existing control
-Verification of existing control values
-All Global Positioning System surveying services
-Horizontal and vertical control surveys
-Provide reference / recovery diagrams
-Provide complete survey reports.
Pinners Point
Interchange (VDOT), Portsmouth, Virginia 2001-2004
Precision Measurements, Inc. is the subsonsultant for the
4 year contract for the Pinners Point Interchange in Portsmouth,
Virginia. This project consists of building an approximate
three mile interchange around Port Norfolk to help alleviate
the traffic flow. Project services include:
-Stake and grade storm structures
-Stake and grade, on an offset, approximately 310 man holes
-Stake of fence every 100 feet
-Stake and grade approximately 13,000 LF of water line
-Stake and grade of sewer pipe
-Stake and grade sewer manholes
-Stake and grade of gas line
-Stake and grade sewer suction main
-Stake and grade 13 bike bridge piers
-Stake right-of-way
-Staking and grading bridge piers
-Staking and grading bridge abutments
-Staking all easements
-Establish and maintain control and benchmarks
-Stake wetland boundary.
Fort Pickett
Re-Tracement Boundary Survey, Fort Pickett, Virginia

Precision Measurements, Inc. was the surveying subconsultant
to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Norfolk District, for
the boundary retracement survey of the Fort Pickett Reservoir.
This project consisted of retracement and re-establishing
approximately 66,000 linear feet of boundary line encompassing
the Fort Pickett Water Reservoir. Project services included
the following:
-Court house research
-Field reconnaisance
-Boundary retracement(66,000 Linear feet)
-Monumentation
-Preparation of plats
-GPS surveys.
Monumentation
Precision Measurements is able to provide its clients with
any type of monumentation that is required. PMI can and has
set Core drilled monumentation, Cast in place concrete monuments,
Pre-cast concrete monuments and NGS 3-D type monuments. With
each monument PMI has also provided a reference recovery sheet.
PMI has set monumentation of various types on the following
